Brighton artist, George Antoni returns to The Grange, Rottingdean. This will be his third show there. George’s art is constantly changing and as usual this exhibition will showcase a new body of work. Most of the paintings here will be exhibited for the first time.
Although still evocative abstracts they are quite different from previous collections. These paintings employ a new pallet of earthy tones and have a darker more wild aspect.
As with all of George Antoni’s work, each piece in this collection is created by process of exploration and experimentation, where much is left to chance. Little if anything is depicted and the viewer is invited to bring their own interpretation.
The Show runs from 29th October to 10th November. The Grange Museum and Art Gallery, The Green, Rottingdean, Brighton BN2 8LT.
An extensive range of George’s work, along with information about various shows can be seen on his website www.georgeantoni.net
