ThreeSixty° asks caffeine addicts to get creative and design new packaging
Coffee brand ThreeSixty° has launched a competition, asking the public to design the label for its new coffee, and win two return flights to Cuba – the home of its new coffee.
In exchange for their creativity, the winner will see their design printed on the new single origin Cuban Cumanayagua – and sold in Waitrose and Ocado.
Coffee lovers can enter by downloading a template from http://bit.ly/1XfJn2Y to draw their designs on. The entries can then be submitted to Twitter or Facebook using the #MyThreeSixtyDesign hashtag, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The competition, which first ran in 2015, will close on 30 June 2016. A panel of judges will shortlist five designs which will be uploaded to www.threesixtycoffee.co.uk for the general public to vote to decide a winner.
Nicole Hartnell, brand manager, ThreeSixty° comments: “This is the second time we’ve asked coffee fans to get creative with our brand and design a label inspired by the country it’s from. Last year we had hundreds of great designs, so we can’t wait to see what comes in for our Cuban coffee. At ThreeSixty°, adventure and discovery is at the heart of everything we do — from the taste in the cup to the origin’s coordinates printed on every pack. What better way to reward our winning designer for their creativity than with the adventure of a lifetime to Cuba?”
Full terms and conditions for the competition are available at www.threesixtycoffee.co.uk/pages/label-comp.
The ThreeSixty˚ range takes consumers’ curiosity over provenance to a new level. Each individual coffee displays the coordinates of the coffee beans’ origin on its packaging. The coordinates can be typed into Google Earth, or looked up on a world map, to show the coffee’s country of origin, providing consumers with a unique ‘sense of discovery’.
The full range of ThreeSixty˚ comprises of six 250g coffees: Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Guatemala Antigua, Italian Espresso, Peru Lima Province, Tanzania Kilimanjaro and Cuban Cumanayagua. It’s available to buy at Waitrose and Ocado. RRP is £4.99.
